What is assets under management (AuM)?

Assets under Management (AuM) is the total market value of all investments a wealth manager manages on behalf of clients.

For you it matters mainly as the basis for the management fee: it is calculated as a percentage of your invested capital, not of your contribution. At Vive that percentage is tiered and lower for pension accounts. See current percentages on the pricing page.
