What happens if I take out a subscription?
If you take out a subscription with Vive, we will send a confirmation email with all the registration information. We will then immediately start working on creating your account. For individuals starting to invest via Vive, their account can be set up within 1 hour.
The longer turnaround time may be due to the CDD/KYC check performed after registration. For companies, freelancers (ZZP'ers), or entrepreneurs, accounts with Vive are created within 1-2 working day(s) (excluding weekends). We always try to create an account for you on the same day, however, the CDD/KYC sometimes takes longer.
The lead time from application to implementation can always be discussed. We often see that companies want to wait a bit longer before creating accounts. We see that employers often want to inform their employees in advance about the new employment benefit.
What are the pension costs per employee?
Is Vive a replacement for my pension scheme?
Vive is a fully-fledged pension scheme in the third pillar. You can offer it to your employees without any problems. If you already have a collective pension, or if your company falls under an industry-wide pension scheme, then the situation is different. What is a company pension?
A company pension is a supplementary pension on top of the state old-age pension (AOW). It is often arranged by an employer who contributes to employees' pension accrual. However, even if you are self-employed, you can arrange a company pension yourself through a pension provider. In both cases, assets are built up for later, with tax advantages.

Nee, pensioen is niet verplicht voor alle werknemers. Alleen als je onder een cao valt waarin pensioenopbouw is opgenomen, ben je als werkgever verplicht om een regeling te treffen. Werkgevers zonder cao hebben meer vrijheid. Met Vive kun je pensioen regelen voor werknemers zonder cao op jouw manier – flexibel en persoonlijk. Je hoeft niet iedereen exact dezelfde regeling te geven: je kiest zelf wie je sponsort en hoeveel.
What exactly does Vive offer as a Future Pensions Act (Wtp) scheme?
Under the Future Pensions Act (WTP), Vive offers employers a ready-made pension plan that fully complies with the new rules, focusing on simplicity, flexibility, and clear communication.
The solution ensures that employees can accrue a pension and close their pension gap for the accumulated difference due to the transition to flat-rate premiums.
What exactly does Vive offer as a pension scheme?
Your assets are maximally protected under the Act on the Segregation of Assets and the Investor Compensation Scheme. Companies that provide investment services are legally required to keep their own assets separate from the invested assets of clients. Your assets are held by an external custodian.
If things go wrong, their clients' investments are safely held in a separate pot. Vive complies with the rules on the segregation of assets.
The Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets monitors whether Vive complies with the rules that apply to the segregation of assets. These rules ensure that should Vive go bankrupt, our clients' investments are separated from Vive's assets. As a result, clients' investments do not fall into the bankrupt estate.
