Can I still build up a pension in eigen beheer?

No. Since 1 July 2017 DGAs can no longer accrue new pension in eigen beheer. Existing entitlements were then surrendered, converted into an oudedagsverplichting or made premium-free.

New accrual therefore runs through the third pillar: a lijfrente account you contribute to within your jaarruimte. Read what a lijfrente is or see pension for entrepreneurs.
