What is aggressive (financial term)?

A style of investing or investment where the goal is to achieve above-average returns by taking greater risks. This can for example mean that an investor chooses shares in emerging markets, speculative technology companies, or other risky investments, in the hope that these yield substantial profits. Aggressive investors are prepared to accept considerable fluctuations in the value of their portfolio and are often looking for fast growth or high returns.
