What is a drop-off moment?

The cut-off time is the last moment when orders in investment funds, which are listed once a day at 10:00 AM on NYSE Euronext (such as with Euronext Fund Service), can be placed for trading at that time. With these funds, the quotation is based on the intrinsic value, whereby buy orders are settled with a small surcharge and sell orders with a small discount.

The exact cut-off time varies per investment fund and depends on factors such as the region in which investments are made. Generally, the cut-off time is between 3:00 PM on the previous day and 08:30 AM on the trading day.
