What is factor A?
Factor A is the amount by which your pension grew in a given year through an employer scheme. You find it on your Uniform Pensioenoverzicht (UPO).
The number is needed to calculate your jaarruimte: you multiply factor A by 6.27 and deduct that amount from 30% of your premiegrondslag. The higher your factor A, the less room remains for a lijfrente. If you accrue no pension anywhere, factor A is zero. Read what factor A is.
